What Kristina to say…

I became a young single mother directly after graduating from high school and had faced many challenges and setbacks. There were many times where I felt like giving up and started to have doubts about my future. It wasn’t until after giving birth, I realized at that moment what a better education would do for me and my daughter. My mom empowered me to go after my goals and dreams and that she would support me through every step of the way. My mom has consistently shown me that hard work, dedication, and self-determination is what it takes to be a strong mother. These characteristics are what I strive for every day to be the best mother and student I can be. Each day I am reminded by a little voice a hundred times on why I won’t ever give up.
